Coach Breitenbucher has been coaching high school boys basketball since 1998. He started as a varsity assistant at Hopkins High School. He then coached the Junior Varsity team at SLP from 2000-2004. From 2005-2009 he coached the Varsity team at Park Center High School. Coach Breitenbucher has been coaching the Varsity team at SLP since 2010.  Breitenbucher has taught social studies in SLP for the past eighteen years.

Arsenio Richardson

Coach Richardson grew up in Minneapolis and has attended school at St. Louis Park schools since 7th grade. He participated in basketball, football and track while in high school. Coach Richardson graduated from Park and went on to play football for three years at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Coach Richardson finished his BA degree at the University of Sioux Falls in Early Childhood. This is his first season coaching basketball at SLP.

Sophomore Coach
Steve Haggar
Coach Haggar is back coaching in our basketball program! Coach Haggar coached the sophomore basketball team at Park Center and SLP with Coach Breitenbucher.  Coach Haggar has spend the past few years coaching in the SLP Traveling program.  Coach Haggar is a former SLP Basketball Alumni.  There are many SLP basketball supporters who are extremely happy that Coach Haggar is back in the program!  

9th Grade A
Jerry Freitas
Coach Freitas was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He coached at his high school alma mater, The Kamehameha Schools for ten years from 1980 through 1990 in various coaching positions in both girls and boys programs. He also coached in the Champlin Park Traveling Basketball Program for three years from 1998 to 2001. He assisted Coach Lott at Minneapolis North High School in the 2003-2004 season. He was the Park Center High School Boys 9A Head Coach for the past fours before joining the St Louis Park program. He is a certified trainer of the BFS training System. He also has attained a Black Belt, 1st Dan, in the martial arts of Tae Kwon Do.

9th Grade B
Aaron Ziman
Coach Ziman played basketball at SLP as a varsity player from 2007-2010.  Ziman was our team captain, won numerous awards, and was honored as a 1000 point scorer.  Ziman went on to play college basketball at St. Thomas and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.  He graduated in May of 2015 with a degree in Finance.  Our basketball program is very fortunate to have another one of our own orioles coaching and mentoring our current players.
